FRENCHAY - New Primary School - waiting restrictions

The proposed scheme is to introduce two new restrictions to protect access to the newly opened Frenchay Primary school situated to the west of Beckspool Road on the former hospital site:

  1. No waiting at any time restriction (double yellow lines) which will prevent inconsiderate and dangerous parking on approaches.
  2. No Stopping on Entrance markings (yellow zigzags) which will prevent drivers from stopping in an obstructive or dangerous place.

The following roads are affected by this scheme:

  • Alexander Road

Please see the consultation documents/drawings for more information which are available in the consultation documents section below.

Once the results of this informal consultation have been considered, and proposals amended if that is appropriate, then a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) Statutory Notice may be advertised at a later date with further opportunity to comment before bringing any restrictions into effect.

Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
Target Audience
  • All residents
