Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 - DECISION NOT TO CONFIRM THE ORDER - South Gloucestershire Council (Footpath between Prospect Road and public footpath ORN 51 at Severn Beach) Definitive map and Statement Modification Order 2019

The above Order was made on 7 August 2019.  Following objections and a subsequent investigation conducted by The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, their formal decision is not to confirm the order.

The effect of the order would have been to modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding to them the footpath commencing at Point A (Grid Ref. ST 5444 8439) where it joins with the adopted highway on Prospect Road running eastwards for 20m into a field to Point B (Grid Ref. ST 5446 8439) where it joins public footpath ORN 51 as shown on the order map.

A copy of the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs’ decision may be seen free of charge at Thornbury Public Library, St. Mary Street, Thornbury, South Gloucestershire and at Patchway One Stop Shop, The Patchway Hub, Rodway Road, Patchway during normal opening hours.  You may also view the decision relating to this notice in the documents pages of this consultation

This order will therefore not come into force.

Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
