Patchway - Shellmor Avenue - Traffic Management Measures

Funding has been included in the 2011/12 Local Transport Capital Programme to investigate proposals to introduce measures to reduce the amount of traffic using Shellmor Avenue as a shortcut.

A number of options have been drawn up to consult with the local residents to decide which option they prefer. These options can be seen on the following drawing:-

The Statement of Reasons gives additional background information.

An online questionaire has been setup to determine which option residents prefer. Alternatively you can contact Transportation Services.

Consultation Topic
  • Local highways and transportation projects
  • Transportation planning & policy
Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
Target Audience
  • All residents
