Proposed Public Spaces Protection Order, Tanhouse Lane, Yate.

The Council is proposing to make a Public Spaces Protection Order restricting vehicle access to the spur off Tanhouse Lane leading towards north Yate.  This is a no-through road for vehicles.

The lane is subject to issues with fly tipping.  The Council incurs costs in clearing this fly tipping, and the waste makes it unpleasant, and potentially dangerous for people to use.

It is proposed to narrow the entrance with earth bunds to prevent vehicles reversing into the lane. Access for pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders would be maintained.

We would like to receive your feedback on the proposed Public Spaces Protection Order.

Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
