Watermore Infants Site Disposal
Consultation on seeking Secretary of State consent for the Disposal of the former Watermore Infants Site
What we want to know
We are consulting on seeking Secretary of State consent for the disposal of the former Watermore Infant School Site, Woodend Road, Frampton Cotterell.
This is the final part of a process which started when Watermore Primary was opened following the amalgamation of the former infant and junior schools in 2011. A commitment was made to locate to a single site and in 2019 the new primary school building opened for the whole school on the former junior site at Lower Stone Close.
It is now proposed that we seek consent for the land at the former infant school to be sold. The capital receipt to be used towards the cost of providing the new school building and relandscaped school site at Lower Stone Close.

Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant. |
