Alveston Area - Waiting Restriction Review

Funding has been prioritised to review the current waiting restrictions in the Alveston area.

The council receives many communications relating to parking issues, from the public, elected members, parish and town councils, emergency services and other representative groups. Rather than addressing these issues individually, they are recorded on an area by area basis, and periodically each area is reviewed, so that all the issues within that area can be addressed in one exercise.

Following consultation with the local Councillors, it is proposed to modify existing waiting restrictions and introduce new waiting restrictions which include:

• No waiting at any time
• Regularisation of School Keep Clear markings
• Amendments to an existing limited waiting parking bay

Changes are proposed on the following roads:
