Latteridge & Yate - B4059 - Proposed Speed Limit Reductions

A scheme has been included in the 2011/12 Local Transport Capital Programme to introduce reduced speed limits on the B4059 between its junction with Bristol Road and Earthcott, and the section of the B4059 called 'Yate Road' from the roundabout with Iron Acton Way to Stover Road.

The purpose of this proposal is to reduce speeds on the B4059 in Latteridge Village and on the approach from the east and B4059 Yate Road approach to Stover Road Bridge.   This is to address the existing reported accident record, improve road safety, and improve the environment in keeping with these locations.

This consultation has now closed and we are analysing the results which will be published here in due course.

Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
