MANGOTSFIELD - Cossham Street - Proposed Weight Limit

Background

Requests have been made by members of the public for a weight limit to be introduced on Cossham Street, Mangotsfield due to heavy congestion during peak times.

Purpose of Scheme

The purpose of the scheme is to reduce congestion on Cossham Street.

Proposed Scheme

The proposed scheme is to introduce a 7.5T MGW Limit on the following roads:

  • Cossham Street (west of the roundabout with Wadham Grove)
  • Elmleigh Avenue
  • Elmleigh Close
  • Elmleigh Road
  • Oakland’s Close
  • Oakland’s Road
  • The Old Orchard
