Heron Way 30mph

Background

Following an investigation of the accident records and undertaking speed/volume monitoring on Heron Way, following requests from Local Members, Dodington Parish Council and local residents to look into the speed of vehicles on Heron Way, it was concluded that it was suitable for a reduction of speed limit. The scheme was included on to the 2020/2021 Capital Programme.

Purpose of the scheme

The purpose of this scheme is to revise the existing speed limit on Heron Way from 40mph speed limit to 30mph speed limit.
