Horton & Little Sodbury Proposed 7.5 tonne Weight Limit
The Village suffers the problem of HGV's (Lorries) travelling from the M4 motorway (and adjoining A46 trunk road) in a north westerly direction to towns and villages around the adjoining areas.
This scheme is part of a larger project being considered to concentrate HGV movements to more suitable routes. It is seen that these restrictions along the length of Horton Hill and Little Sodbury End Lane, together with advanced directional signing from the A46, will reduce the numbers of lorries travelling through the village.
Please see the consultation documents/drawings for more information.

|Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
|Target Audience||All residents|
