KINGSWOOD - John Cabot Academy - Proposed 'School Street'

The proposed scheme is to create a ‘pedestrian and cycle’ zone for a short period of time during the afternoon. The scheme will be introduced under an Experimental Traffic Order (ETO) and before the end of the ETO period a decision will be made on whether to make the scheme permanent. Relevant signing, including flip style signs which the school will close during half terms and school holidays will be erected. Temporary traffic cones will also be in place at the closure point to the zone, to ensure that the scheme is achieved as intended. Permanent measures will be considered once the ETO has finished.

Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
