Parish of Marshfield Affordable Housing Needs Survey 2018
The Housing Enabling Team at South Gloucestershire Council is working with Marshfield Parish Council to undertake a housing needs survey.
The survey will establish if there is a need for affordable housing in the parish and it will also help to identify
housing demand in the private market.
The survey is in two parts:
- Part one- We would be grateful if every household in the parish would answer part one as this will provide background information on the community, its population and its housing profile.
- Part two - Please complete part two if you fall within any of the following categories:
- If your household, or someone living in your household wants to move in the next five years and wants to stay living in the parish of Marshfield
- For people or households (such as family or friends) who have moved away from the parish of Marshfield and would like to return
- If you work in the parish of Marshfield and want to move to the parish
Please note that if more than one household living in the same home needs to move into separate accommodation, then each household must complete a separate survey.
This information will identify households who wish to move to more suitable accommodation within the parish in the next five years and who cannot afford to do so in the local housing market. If there is a need for affordable housing, consideration will be given to develop a rural affordable housing exception site if a suitable site can be found.
Paper copies of the survey have been delivered to every household in Marshfield. To complete the survey online you will need to enter the unique code which is printed on the paper copy you have received. This number does not identify you and is only used to identify duplicate responses.
If you have not received a copy through the post and wish to complete the online survey please contact 01454 865354 or email HousingEnabling@southglos.gov.uk.
The survey is anonymous and all information provided will be confidential. Any personal information that you have supplied will be held by South Gloucestershire Council in accordance with the Data Protection Act. No personal information that could identify your household will be shared with the Parish Council or anyone else.
You can post surveys back in the pre-post envelop provided, use the freepost address that is on the survey or drop them off at these 4 locations in Marshfield Village:Tolzey Hall, Central Stores, Artingstalls Butchers or the Community Centre.
The survey will publicised at two upcoming community consultation events being held in the Village: Parish Council/South Gloucestershire team at the Boules Event at the Community Centre on July 7th from 11.00 - 2.00pm and at the Village Day at Withymead on August 18th from 2.00 - 4.00pm.

|Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
