High Street, Hanham (A431), roundabout junction with Memorial Road – pedestrian crossing improvements
On 26th October 2016 planning permission was granted for a 54 bed care home on land off Hanham High Street, south of Harolds Way - off the north-east stub arm of the roundabout junction of the High Street, (A431), and Memorial Road.
Following the signing in November 2016 of a section 106 agreement under the Town and Country Planning Act 1980, South Gloucestershire Council has secured £50,000 of developer funding towards widening of the pedestrian refuge crossing points over the roundabout.
