CHIPPING SODBURY – Dodington Road – Proposed Speed Tables – STATUTORY NOTICE

The Council proposes to install road humps in the form of speed tables at two locations in Dodington Road, Chipping Sodbury either side of the railway over bridge.

Full details of the proposal, together with a plan and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to install the measures can be seen in the documents section below and have also been deposited at Filton Public Library where they may be seen free of charge during normal library opening hours.

The statutory period for representation has closed.  

The Director of Environment, Planning and Community Services, acting under delegated authority, considered the objections and comments received in response to the advertisement of the above proposed traffic order. After carefully considering these objections together with the comments, Decision ECS07/17 decision was taken on 22 February 2017:

  1. Despite some of the comments received, officers see value in progressing the proposed speed tables. It is therefore recommended that the proposed speed tables on Dodington Road, Chipping Sodbury, in the vicinity of the railway bridge, should be implemented as advertised.
  2. That the objectors are informed accordingly.
