Full details of the proposal, together with a plan, a statement of the Council's reasons for making the order, a copy of the draft order, and any order(s) to be varied or revoked have been deposited at Staple Hill Public Library and Kingswood One Stop Shop where they may be inspected, free of charge, during normal  opening hours.

The statutory period during which objections may be made to the proposed order closed on 13 April 2017 during which time this Council received one letter in support of the proposed speed limit order. No other responses were received.

The order was therefore made on 13 June 2017 and will become operative on 21 August 2017.  Accordingly, a notice will appear in the Press shortly after the order has been made.
