HORTON - Application to divert footpath LHO 66 at The Old Dairy - INFORMAL CONSULTATION

The applicant is seeking to divert a section of public footpath (LHO 66) where it crosses land at The Old Dairy, Horton.  Following recent development of the dairy to form a residential dwelling, the developer wishes to divert the path around the edge of the new property garden.

The Public Rights of Way and Commons Registration Sub-Committee at the meeting held on 28 September 2017 considered the report relating to the above matter and resolved:

“(1)         That the Head of Legal and Democratic Services be authorised to make and advertise a Public Path Diversion Order in respect of that length of LHO66 at The Old Dairy, Horton, as shown on the plan attached as Appendix 1 to the report in the agenda papers, and, if no objections are received, be authorised to confirm the order, and

(2)          If any objections are received consequent upon the formal advertisement of the order a further report be submitted to the Sub-Committee for consideration.”

In due course the order will be made and notices served and published in accordance with the statutory requirements.

Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
Target Audience All residents, General public, Service users
