THORNBURY- Application to divert public footpaths OTH 77 and OTH 78 at Pound House Farm, Thornbury - INFORMAL CONSULTATION

South Gloucestershire Council has received an application under the Highways Act 1980 to divert lengths of public footpaths OTH 77 and OTH 78 where they cross land at Pound House Farm, Old Gloucester Road, Thornbury.

Following recent planning permission to extend the existing agricultural buildings, the applicant is seeking to divert the footpaths away from the buildings to provide paths which can be more easily maintained and managed within their farming practices.

This informal consultation has now closed.  Any comments received have now been forwarded to the Head of Environment and Community Services (Public Rights of Way Team) for consideration. In due course this matter will be reported to the Public Rights of Way and Commons Registration Sub Committee for decision as to whether or not an order should be made.
