WICK- Application to extinguish public footpaths LDN 3A & LWA 71 (Part) and create two new public footpaths at Bury Farm, Wick - INFORMAL CONSULTATION
The Council has received an application under the Highways Act 1980 to extinguish two lengths of public right of way footpaths and create two new lengths of footpath at Wick.
The applicant is seeking to extinguish public footpath LDN 3A and a section of LWA 71 where they cross land at Bury Farm, Wick to allow for better agricultural land use. In return the applicant proposes to provide two new lengths of footpath to maintain links with the wider footpath network and provide alternative access to the Golden Valley Nature Reserve.
This informal consultation has now closed. Any comments received have now been forwarded to the Head of Environment and Community Services (Public Rights of Way Team) for consideration. In due course this matter will be reported to the Public Rights of Way and Commons Registration Sub Committee for decision as to whether or not an order should be made.

|Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
