RODWAY WARD - Chiphouse Road, Elmleigh Road, Orchard Road and St. James Street, Mangotsfield – Proposed Amendments to Waiting Restrictions – STATUTORY NOTICE

The Council proposes to make an order to a) amend the waiting restrictions in Chiphouse Road, Elmleigh Road and St. James Street, Mangotsfield; b) revoke the South Gloucestershire Council (Fairlyn Drive, Kingswood) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2016 the provisions of which will be consolidated unchanged into the new order; and c) revoke the South Gloucestershire Council (The Chase Area - South Gloucestershire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) (Consolidation) Order 2018 in so far as it relates to Oaklands Road.

Full details of the proposal, together with a plan, a statement of the Council's reasons for making the order, a copy of the draft order, and any order(s) to be varied or revoked have been deposited at Downend Public Library where they may be inspected, free of charge, during normal library opening hours.

The statutory period during which objections may be made to the proposed order closed on 19 December 2018. No comments or objections in respect of the proposals were received. 

The order was made on 5 February 2019 and becomes operative on 1 March 2019.
