WICKWAR- Application to divert public footpath LWR 21 at Croft Cottage, Wickwar - INFORMAL CONSULTATION
South Gloucestershire Council has received an application under the Highways Act 1980 to divert a length of public footpath LWR 21 where it crosses land at Croft Cottage, Horwood Lane, Wickwar.
Following recent planning permission to build 80 houses on land to the north of the cottage and the likely increase in use of the path, the applicant is seeking to divert the footpath away from the cottage curtilage and provide a path within the new development.
This informal consultation has now closed. Any comments received have now been forwarded to the Head of Environment and Community Services (Public Rights of Way Team) for consideration. In due course this matter will be reported to the Public Rights of Way and Commons Registration Sub Committee for decision as to whether or not an order should be made.

|Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
