CHARFIELD - WOTTON ROAD - Proposed waiting restrictions - STATUTORY NOTICE

The council proposes to extend the waiting restrictions on the north side of Wotton Road, Charfield, to deter obstructive parking in the vicinity of the pedestrian refuge and bus layby.

Full details of the proposal, together with a plan, a statement of the Council's reasons for making the order and a copy of the draft order have been deposited at Yate One Stop Shop and at Thornbury Public Library where they may be inspected, free of charge, during normal opening hours.

The statutory period during which objections may be made to the proposed order has closed.

The order has therefore been made on 15 April 2019 and will become operative on 18 April 2019.  Accordingly, a notice will appear in the Press shortly after the order has been made.

Consultation Topic Local highways and transportation projects
Geographical area Charfield
Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
