MANGOTSFIELD – Cossham Street and Elmleigh Road – Proposed Speed Table – STATUTORY NOTICE

The Council proposes to install a road hump in the form of a speed table at the junction of Cossham Street with Elmleigh Road.

Full details of the proposal, together with a plan and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to install the measures have been deposited at Emersons Green Public Library and may be seen free of charge during normal library opening hours.

On 10 January 2020 the Director of Environment and Community Services acting under Delegated Authority considered the objections and comments received in response to the advertisement of the above proposed traffic order. After carefully considering these objections together with the comments the following decision was taken:

  1. Both the local member and officers see value in progressing the proposed road hump. It is therefore recommended that the proposed road hump in Cossham Street and Elmleigh Road should be implemented as advertised.
  2. That the Head of Legal Governance and Democratic Services be authorised to seal the Traffic Regulation Orders.
  3. That the objectors are informed accordingly

The reasons for the decision are contained in the Director’s Report, a copy of which may be obtained by contacting 01454 868004.

The measures will be implemented in due course.

Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
