The Council proposes to install a zebra crossing on Wotton Road, Charfield, at its junction with Poskett Way.

Due to the Covid-19 emergency restrictions, these documents cannot be placed on deposit at any public building.

On 11 January 2021 the Director of Environment and Community Services acting under Delegated Authority considered the objections and comments received in response to the advertisement of the above proposed measures. After carefully considering these objections together with the comments the following decision was taken: 

  1. That the objections be overruled and that the proposal to introduce the Zebra Crossing in Wotton Road, Charfield be introduced subject to mitigation measures to reduce the impact of light pollution on nearby properties
  2. That the objectors are informed accordingly.
  3. That the Head of Legal Governance and Democratic Services be authorised to undertake the legal process to introduced the Zebra Crossing in Wotton Road, Charfield.

The measures have been installed and are formally operative from 29 January 2021.
