CHIPPING SODBURY - Raysfield School Waiting Restriction Review
Funding has been secured in the Capital budget to review the current waiting restrictions in the area around Raysfield Primary School, Chipping Sodbury.
Inconsiderate parking is taking place in roads around Raysfield Primary School by residents and parents at the start and end of the school day. The demand for on-street parking and associated obstructive parking is causing access and visibility difficulties for local residents.
Purpose of the scheme
To provide waiting restrictions to remove inconsiderate and often obstructive parking in Finch Road, Heron Way and Kingfisher Road.
It is proposed to revise the existing no waiting at any time restrictions (double yellow lines) to cover junctions and areas where traffic parking can reduce visibility and impact safety. The proposals include the conversion of existing advisory white keep clear markings, to no waiting at any time restrictions.
It is also proposed to revise the No Stopping waiting restrictions in Finch Road from No stopping, Monday to Friday, 8am tor 5pm, to No stopping 24 hours, seven days a week.
Please see the consultation documents/drawings for more information.
The drawings showing the proposals are available directly via the links on this page or in the consultation documents section below.

|Consultation Topic||Local highways and transportation projects|
|Geographical area||Chipping Sodbury|
|Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
|Target Audience||All residents, General public|
