Shorthill Road, Westerleigh - Proposed Traffic Management Measures

Background
Funding has been included in the 2011/12 Local Transport Capital Program to investigate proposals to reduce speeds on Shorthill Road through the village of Westerleigh. This follows continued concerns from residents and members over the speed of traffic using the road.

The proposals to reduce the speed limit through the village, is intended to improve road safety and protect vulnerable road users. The proposed traffic management measures can be seen on the drawings below:-

This consultation has now closed and we are analysing the results, which will be published here in due course.
