YATE - Station Road Cycle Lanes - Phase 2 Consultation

Following the implementation of Phase 1, the second phase is to introduce additional cycle lanes on more of Station Road and Kennedy Way, linking routes either side of the town centre. The proposal furthers the aim of Phase 1 to improve cycle links in Yate, under the council’s network management duty and guidance announced by the Secretary of State for Transport, Grant Shapps on 9th May 2020 to speed up the ‘cycling revolution’ and help individuals become fitter and healthier. Increased levels of cycling and walking will also help reduce air pollution from vehicle emissions.

Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
