Iron Acton - The British Waiting Restrictions

Following the development of residential properties at The British, the council proposes to implement waiting restrictions to alleviate obstructive parking and improve access and egress by prohibiting parking.

The purpose of the scheme is to improve road safety for vulnerable road users and improve safety for pedestrians and children of the neighbouring school. The restrictions aim to maintain visibility and provide sufficient space for vehicles to safely pass each other while entering and leaving The British.

The following roads are affected by this scheme:

  • The British
  • North Road

Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
