West of England Strategy Discussion Paper – Public engagement

The West of England Combined Authority Office (WECA) are currently holding a public engagement about the West of England Regional Strategy Discussion Document which was launched with an event at UWE on 26 July 2017.

 

The West of England Strategy Discussion Paper has been prepared by Officers at the West of England Combined Authority Office (WECA) but is the basis of a Strategy for the region governed by the West of England Joint Committee (Bath & North-East Somerset Council, Bristol City Council, North Somerset Council and South Gloucestershire Council). The paper sets out high-level plans for delivering economic growth for all, under three pillars:

  • Businesses that succeed
  • World class skills for employment
  • Infrastructure fit for the future

Attend the consultation drop in event on Monday 11 September 9.30am-12.30pm in the Council Chamber at the Civic Centre, Kingswood, BS15 9TR.
