Yate Town Improvement Masterplan Engagement

Have your say on the future of Yate

We, along with our partners, are in the early stages of developing a draft masterplan for Yate and we want to hear your views.

The Yate Town Improvement Masterplan will shape the future of Yate by setting out a long-term vision and the objectives for the town. It will build on and enhance the town’s existing strengths, to ensure Yate is a great place to live, work and visit.

We want to hear your views and suggestions for improving Yate before Tuesday 17 November.

How to let us know your views and suggestions

For more information on the developing masterplan, please visit the Yate Town Improvement Masterplan website at Yatefuture.com.

Here you can explore Yate with our interactive map which enables you to comment on existing ideas and add your own suggestions for improving the town. There is also an engagement brochure to read through and a feedback form for you to complete.

If you have a question, comment or suggestion, you can get in touch with the team, including requesting printed copies of the engagement brochure and feedback form, by emailing feedback@yatefuture.com or completing the ‘get in touch’ form at Yatefuture.com

Printed brochures and feedback forms will be available at the Council’s One Stop Shop in Yate Shopping Centre, the One Stop Community Store on Wellington Road, and upon request by emailing the team at feedback@yatefuture.com.

Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
