HANHAM- Lower Hanham Road, Zebra Crossing

The proposed scheme is to install a zebra crossing on a speed table south of the junction of Mount Hill Road. The speed table will be installed as part of the traffic calming scheme which was advertised earlier in the year. Belisha Beacons will be installed on each side of the proposed crossing.

As part of the works, the road surface will be resurfaced to improve the existing road condition. In addition, High Friction Surfacing (HFS) would be installed on the approach from the north of the zebra, to improve stopping for vehicles heading downhill. The lining will be altered to allow the inclusion of a zebra crossing.

Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
