Traffic Calming Review, Little Stoke Lane, Stoke Gifford

Little Stoke Lane currently has a system of priority narrowings installed as traffic calming to support the 20mph zone in the vicinity of Little Stoke Primary School. However, concerns have been raised by local residents regarding the driving behaviour that the narrowings have promoted, with drivers failing to give way and driving aggressively to negotiate them. A scheme to investigate a review of the traffic calming was selected as a priority by the Southern Brooks Area Forum from their available funding. This has been followed by a petition, submitted in March 2012, requesting the priority narrowings be replaced with raised speed tables.

This consultation has now closed and we are analysing the results which will be published here in due course.

Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
