WAPLEY - Footpath LDO 3/20 at The Old Rectory - Public Path Diversion Order - STATUTORY NOTICE
The Council has received an application under the Highways Act 1980 to divert a length of public footpath LDO 3/20 at The Old Rectory, Wapley. A plan outlining the route affected may be seen in the documents section below and a copy of the order and plan has been deposited at Emersons Green Public Library where, during normal library opening hours, they may be inspected, free of charge.
The statutory period for objections to the confirmation of this order has now closed.
Objections to the order being confirmed were considered by the Public Rights of Way and Commons Registration Sub Committee prior to the matter being referred to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for determination.
The order was confirmed by the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs on 21 December 2015 and became operative on the 21 January 2016, this being the date on which South Gloucestershire District Council certified that the terms of Article 1 of the order had been complied with.
