Changes to Trinity CE (Church of England) Primary School

Consultation on the proposal to reduce the admission number for Trinity CE (Church of England) Primary School from September 2023

In consultation with the Governing Body, South Gloucestershire Council is proposing to reduce the admission number for Trinity CE Primary School.

It is proposed to reduce the admission number from 20 to 15 with affect from 1 September 2023.

The proposal will bring the admission number more closely in line with recent and anticipated admissions to the school and will apply to new applications received for first admission to the Reception class in September 2023. The new admission number will age through the school and reach 15 across the age range over a period of 7 years.

No other alterations to the admission arrangements at the school are proposed and children currently attending the school will remain on roll.

Any comment on this proposal may be sent to South Gloucestershire Council by email to charlotte.johnston@southglos.gov.uk or by post at the following address:

Marking a consultation as relevant to a particular audience indicates that it may be of special relevance to people within that group. It doesn't, however, mean that other groups wont find the consultation of interest - we welcome responses from everybody.
For example, education issues may be of particular interest to Parents & Guardians, and so will be shown to people searching the system for parenting issues, but the views of others (eg: Business, Faith Groups) are also relevant.
